I love business card design! Danielle at Black Altar Collective had a SICK idea for her cards and I’m stoked we could pull it off. The front is an awesome piece of artwork by Danielle while the back was up to me. She wanted to do a diecut around the artwork (just like the original huge piece on wood!). I pushed for a “historic, religious text” vibe with everything, all the way down to some gold edging on the cards reminiscent of those old texts! Between the cuts an gold foil adornments, these cards are really really awesome and a feat all their own.

Fun packaging project for Solterra Farms prerolls. I took some existing looks for their three strains and adapted into easily-readable preroll labels.

This project was completed under creative direction from Frank. - Branding & Advertising Agency.

One of my favorite projects I’ve done to date for Brenntag 🤘🏻 This isn’t a product for sale - rather a formulation to showcase some of their offerings in their Food & Nutrition business unit. This has been highlighted at trade shows and we had the goal to make it stick to their brand guidelines while also able to look great in a real display.

We had fun with the printing processes too! The purple has no white base layer so the metallic can shows through. Everything else got a white matte basecoat to stand out and “Power Energy Drink” got a spot gloss treatment 😎

Horns up!! My dudes in Malformed announced their EP “Death’s Promise” today - releasing 10/17. I had a TON of fun putting the cover design together for them.

Working with artwork from the legendary Nightjar art of Adam Burke was a dream and of course Adam’s painting here does all (and I mean ALL) of the heavy lifting. The only addition besides the type and rune overlays was adding Malformed’s sigil to the archway in the painting.

The boys have stepped their game up with this EP and should be super proud - so glad to be part of the sick artwork to push it forward 🤘🏻

This year’s variation on the Pagoda Pacers Athletic Club Kris Kringle 5-Mile logo! I realized when getting this post ready that I never shared 2024’s version either. Each year, the organization likes to change something up about the Santa, so we’ve been changing the sunglasses and hat choices. Racers love to collect the hoodies each year so having something unique is fun.

Broke out a bit from my comfort zone for this logo and started with a traditional hand-drawn idea - further refined and then digitized. If you’re a Berks local, go check out the ladies at Pumpkins & Pine! They’ll get that front porch looking like something out of those magazines your wife loves 😁

Behind the scenes and process of “The Hateful” cover art for Malformed . Slide through for some cool looks at how we ended up where we did!

SLIDE 2 - Jake Belcher reached out to me with these photographs asking if I could do something cool for the cover art for their next single. He took these at work and it immediately gave me the awesome creepy vibes.

SLIDE 3 - This was “version 1.” My mind was going a monochromatic, light version that really played with the shadows and highlights of the original photo. Very different than the other single covers up to this point. I still very much like this version.

SLIDE 4 - Just to exhaust options, I started manipulating the chosen photo further and landed on this that just felt VERY John Carpenter’s “The Thing” and had this evil glow to it that I felt lended itself to the song better.

SLIDE 5 - I pulled some colors from something maaaaybe (definitely) coming in the future to tie some things together.

New single artwork for Malformed! I created this art utilizing and manipulating a photograph that Jake Belcher took and then adding in some extra elements and nods to maaaaaybe something else in the future? Bonus points to anyone besides the Malformed guys if you can guess what the background photo is actually of 😉

Excited for my dudes who’s new single “The Hateful” will be streaming everywhere on 9/26. The song features Nolan Mateer of The Art of Deception and is a total banger 🤘🏻
