This knife came to me for that very reason. Customer felt the factory sheath was lacking, so they ordered a custom one. Think it turned out pretty good, plus no retention strap to get in the way.

Finished this new addition yesterday as well. It’s a customer requested mash up of a clip point Talon blade with the handle of a Bush knife. Calling this one the “Pig Sticker”, since his plan is to use it while pig hunting.
Thinking this pattern may need to go in the rotation!

So it’s been a while since I posted, lots of crazy life stuff going on. Nothing bad, just life getting the best of the weekends. Still getting things done in the shop.
Yesterday put the finishing touches on several knives that I’ve been working on.

Trying something new this weekend. Doing a show at Meadowbrooke Gourds in Carlisle, for their Summer Celebration. It runs Saturday from 8-2 at their fields. Info is at mbgourds.com.

I spent the fourth helping my son build a fence around part of his yard. After working in feel like temps over 100 degrees, posting was the farthest from my mind.
With that being said, Happy 250th to the greatest nation ever created. 250 years of FREEDOM is something that we truly need to appreciate. It didn’t come easy or free. As we go through our day to day lives we should always keep the memories of the sacrifices that other before us made so we can live the lives we do!
