Every manufacturer we work with eventually hits the same wall: every platform, every ERP, every MES, every app speaks its own dialect. The integration tax compounds, innovation slows, and vendor lock-in becomes the default, quietly, and expensively.
That's the problem CESMII is taking on with i3X, an open, vendor-agnostic API specification for contextualized manufacturing data. And it's why we're so encouraged to see the launch of their Manufacturing Information Modeling & Namespace Foundations Course™.
We built Fuuz to be open and extensible because we believe the future of industrial software is composable, not proprietary. CESMII's charter, clean, contextual data, available without vendor gatekeeping, has shaped how we think about our platform from day one. So we're putting real time behind the words: two of our solution engineers are enrolled in the course to make sure we stay in lock step with the evolving work on Smart Manufacturing Profiles and i3X.
If you're a manufacturer, integrator, or platform vendor feeling the cost of fragmented data, this is worth a serious look. Standards only become real when people show up to learn them, build to them, and hold each other accountable to them.
Grateful to the CESMII team for leading this work. Proud to keep contributing alongside them.
