Beautiful McIntosh MX110Z. Just needed a control cleaning, new RCA jacks and a weak tube replaced and it's working and sounding great.

Marantz 2245 came in with one dead channel. It was originally in a wooden case and when the case was removed the customer used the original long screws for the feet. The front right screw was shorting out the wires on the headphone jack , causing the dead channel. Sometimes it's just a simple fix!

Sansui 881 that received a full restoration.

1978 Sansui G7000 received a total restoration. This 85wpc. receiver was completely dead with multiple issues. It received an extensive restoration including replacement of all electrolytic capacitors, all epoxy "blob" diodes, all troublesome small signal transistors, and multiple resistors that were out of spec. It needed a complete cleaning as it was covered in filth and dust. After 15 hrs. + of work it looks and sounds fantastic now!

This little Nikko receiver just needed the controls cleaned. I preemptively changed the 2SA798 transistors in the amplifier circuit. These transistors are a dual package transistor that are known to get noisy with age. It's easy enough to just change them out to ensure no future issues. This little receiver is rated at 30 WPC and put out 35wpc. on the bench.

This Pioneer SX-850 had been sitting for many years and wasn't putting out any sound. The original owner brought it to me to get it going again. After a thorough cleaning of all the controls and a rebuild of the phono stage its working beautifully now.

This is a Phase Linear 400 Series 2 that I recently rebuilt. 230 WPC! All electrolytic caps were replaced including the main filter caps. Filter caps upgraded to 10000 uf (originals were 5900 uf). Also replaced 4 high power resistors on the driver board. This amp is for sale if anyone is interested.

Hitachi HA-610 full restoration. Work done was replace all electrolytic capacitors and failure prone small signal transistors. Clean all switches and pots, plus full cleaning and detailing of chassis and faceplate.
