Quick Home Network Security Reminder
Recent security advisories have highlighted vulnerabilities affecting some older TP-Link routers. This does not impact every TP-Link device, but it’s a good reminder to check if your router is current and secure.
You can usually find your router’s model number on the bottom or back of the unit (examples might look like Archer C7 or TL-WR841N).
Once you have your model number, you can check TP-Link’s advisory and support page here:

Good things to verify:
✔ Is your model affected?
✔ Is a firmware update available?
✔ Is your router old enough to consider replacement?
✔ Is remote management disabled if you don’t use it?
If your router is several years old, this may be a good time for a quick security check.
