I was really hoping to apply for Sac Anime Summer this year and had every intention of doing so but I missed the deadline by 11 hours. I drove up to Spokane on Friday for Lilac City and then drove right back home to Portland on Sunday, slept for a few hours and was back at my dad’s house.
With my him in hospice for the last couple of weeks, its been harder to remember things like this in addition to my other commitments. Its midnight and I’m just getting to go through my work emails etc.
Which reminds me, thank you to everyone that has come out to the conventions I’ve been doing the last few weeks. It means so much!
I am going to see if there is a way to reach them and ask if I can apply with an extenuating circumstance but it might just be one of those things I miss out on during this process.
