Would you fall for this? Email sent to me today. Let's point out all the obvious scam issues here.

Look at who sent the email. Freshdesk dot com?

No where does it state my name.

Amazon order numbers do not have letters, and current orders will be in the 114- range.

By clicking on "My Amazon Account" it would take you to a page that looks exactly like the Amazon login page, but it would not be Amazon. Holding your mouse over the link, and not pressing it, it will show the website it will take you to. In this case it would have taken me to absolute co dot com (I've intentionally left out the actual link). If I were to enter my information on that page, some scammer would now have my Amazon login!

Be very weary of any email asking you to confirm your information.

Another example of a scam. Here's an email to myself from "AT&T" I've highlighted the important areas. Notice after @ you do not see att.com, only before? ATT.com would be after the @ symbol if this was legitimate. I held my mouse over the "Sign In" link, and you'll see it shows where it would take me if I clicked it. Don't see anything about AT&T in there. Don't fall for these scams. I would also note, they would not email to "Dear Customer", they certainly know my name in every other email.

Never fall for these scams. It may look legit, so if you're not sure, call the bank. I don't even have an account with this bank.
