AI is a powerful tool, but like any other tool, it can be used for good intentions and bad. Think intelligently before using AI. If you wouldn't put the information in a public forum or press release, you shouldn't put it into AI. Using vague or generic inputs helps keep from entering confidential or private data that you don't want out on the internet.

Remain mindful of what you share, follow your company policies if there are any, and prioritize security. AI can be beneficial without putting your data or other people's data at risk.

Love may be in the air, but so are the Romance Scams!

Romance Scams (A.K.A Sweetheart Scams) are scams that involve online dating. Where a bad actor creates a fake profile, fires up that charm, and attempts to exploit your romantic feelings. Here are some red flags to watch out for this Valentine's Season:

•The person requests MONEY FOR URGENT MATTERS, such as medical expenses or a plane ticket to see you.
•The person requests hard-to-track forms of payment like PRE-LOADED GIFT CARDS.
•The person claims to LIVE FAR AWAY FROM YOU, often in a foreign country. They might also say they are in the MILITARY serving overseas.
•The person BREAKS PROMISES to see you in person.
•The person wants to push the conversation from the dating app to OTHER messaging platforms like WhatsApp, Signal, or Telegram.
•The relationship feels like it's moving TOO FAST.

If you suspect you or a loved one are a victim of a romance scam, TAKE ACTION NOW!

•Stop all communication with the scammer
•Notate any identifiable information (Email or phone number)
•Contact your bank if you've been scammed out of money.
•File a report with your local law enforcement agency
•Report the scam to the FTC and FBI (https://www.ic3.gov/)
•Alert the website, platform, or app where you met the scammer. They may have more information on the scammer that could help investigators.
