Some moments happen so fast that nobody in the stands sees them.

A split second later, everyone reacts.

That’s one of the things I love most about sports photography. You’re constantly trying to anticipate what’s about to happen rather than reacting to what already happened.

This frame is an old favorite of mine. The runner in the background. The expression on the batter’s face. The baseball arriving at exactly the wrong place at exactly the wrong time.

A fraction of a second. One frame.

That’s the game.

There’s something cool about watching another creative work.

You can usually tell within a few seconds who genuinely cares about the craft. The focus. The patience. The way they move around a scene looking for something, most people never notice.

Caught Foz.mov (Foster White) in his element doing exactly that.

As photographers and filmmakers, we spend most of our time behind the lens, so I’ve been trying to document more of the people who are out there creating alongside us.

The creative world gets a lot better when we stop competing with each other and instead collaborate and support each other's professional and artistic ambitions.

Another outstanding day for Central Massachusetts high school athletics.

The 64th Annual District E Division 2 Central Massachusetts Championships took place Saturday at Gardner High School, where some of the area’s top athletes delivered impressive performances across the track and field events.

Kill the Ball Media was there capturing the intensity, determination, and moments that define championship competition in Central Massachusetts high school sports.

More coverage, photos, and highlights coming soon.

One thing I love about high school athletics is the combination of individual discipline and team culture. The best athletes compete hard while still showing respect for teammates, opponents, and the game itself.

Pro tip: In tennis, the strongest action images usually happen just before ball contact. Anticipation matters more than reaction.
I’m always looking to work with schools, athletes, and programs that value strong imagery and authentic storytelling.

Notre Dame Academy - Worcester

Some favorites from a recent shoot for Notre Dame Academy - Worcester , Lacrosse. These are fantastic young athletes. What makes a huge impression on me while photographing them is the high level of sportsmanship, integrity, and graciousness they show while playing the game. Super supportive of each other and the teams they play against.
