We’ve been making some targeted updates to the Rich’s Junk Hauling & Dumpster Rental website, with a focus on making things faster and easier for customers right from the start.

One of the biggest improvements is the new top bar, now visible on both desktop and mobile. It gives visitors three quick ways to connect right away:
• Send photos by text for a fast estimate
• View 5-star Google reviews for instant trust
• Call directly with a single tap

Just below that, the updated homepage hero puts everything front and center. A clean, real-world residential setting, clear service messaging, and a simple callout for pricing starting at $125, along with another easy text option.

The goal is simple. Make it easy for someone to land on the site and know exactly what to do next.

New Website Launch for Couzens Criminal Defense

We recently completed a full website redevelopment for Couzens Criminal Defense, led by attorney Ryan Couzens.

The original site was built on Squarespace, and the new version was rebuilt on WordPress using Elementor to provide greater flexibility, improved performance, and a stronger foundation for SEO and future content.

Ryan works with clients throughout Sacramento and the surrounding region, and the new site was designed to make it easier for people to quickly understand their legal options and get the help they need.

Is your website "ghosting" you?👻

If you’ve noticed that website contact forms have suddenly stopped hitting your main inbox, you aren't alone. Even if your website is technically "perfect" and using secure SMTP authentication (like Google OAuth), Gmail and other providers have recently changed the way they filter your mail.

Why is this happening? Lately, email providers have updated their AI to be much more aggressive. Even a legitimate inquiry from your own website can get tucked away in the Promotions or Updates folders because:

The "Automated" Look: Modern filters flag emails with heavy HTML, logos, or "No-Reply" addresses as marketing material.

Low Engagement: If you receive notifications but don't "reply" to that specific sender address, the AI assumes it’s a low-priority notification rather than a personal conversation.

The Good News: You can fix this in about 30 seconds!

The Quick Fix:

Drag & Drop: Find a notification in your Promotions tab and drag it to "Primary."

Confirm: When Gmail asks if you want to do this for future messages, click YES.

Add to Contacts: Save your website’s sending email as a contact.

This is a side by side comparison of a new attorney website I'm in development on. The image at left is a Squarespace site. I assisted with its development as a "temporary" build option for this client. The image on the right is the "new" site homepage.
