You decided to DIY your brand and website. You figured, ‘How hard could it be?’

A few fonts.
A template.
Some late nights and second-guessing.

And now?
It just feels a little off.
A little… meh.

You’ve got pieces,
but no presence — a look,
but not a cohesive vibe.

You thought you were saving money.
But what it’s actually cost you … is clarity.

Because you didn’t just need something that works.
You needed something that feels like YOU.

And that takes more than a template.
That takes reflection. Guidance. Design that goes deeper.

That’s where I come in.

Studio Crone is for women in their next era —
Rooted. Evolving. Ready to be seen.
DM me if this landed. I’m booking July - August.

You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

There’s something about old bookstores.

The worn spines. The quiet chaos. The wandering cat down the aisles. The fact that everything’s slightly out of order, but exactly where it needs to be.

This is where I get inspired, not by trends, but by textures.
By the way, color fades over time. By typography that had no idea it would be iconic one day, by the feeling that someone else’s story still matters, even if it’s dusty.

This is how I approach design.
Not just what’s current. But what feels rooted, honest, and reflective.

Whether you’re starting your business or rebranding after a personal reinvention, your visuals should feel like home, not like a Canva template.

Whether you’re re-emerging or just beginning, Studio Crone is for women building with purpose.

And sometimes, the clearest way forward starts in the quiet corners.

It's been four years since I ditched the dye, so what better time than to snap a few selfies and celebrate! What began as a quiet experiment turned out to be one of the most empowering decisions of my life.

It's easy to get caught up in what others think, but I believe you have to make the right decisions for YOU, no one else. And n o t h i n g compares to the freedom I feel now! No more hot roots, nasty chemicals, or bi-weekly color costs.

There were so many unknown fears when I started down this path, but I've realized the color of my hair doesn't matter. It's how I carry myself in this world that matters most. Looking back, I thank my forty-five-year-old self, who was brave enough to go against the grain and let my silvers shine. ✨

Drumroll, please! Meet the FOUR brands I designed simultaneously for my client Lashaun. This project pushed all my creative buttons and I loved every minute!

My goal for each sub-brand (Find Your Gold, Fully Inspired, and Yoga Magic(k)) was to conceptually and visually link to the core brand Lashaun Dale but also have them exist independently. I achieved this by using similar font weights, bold color palettes, and gradients.

Go to https://mightywithin.com/work to read about each brand and the deeper meaning behind each the logo designs and let me know what you think?

“Working with Steph is a radical experience. Her work is both sophisticated and visually arresting yet somehow still absolutely functional for use in real life. She has this laser ability to hone in on the essence of exactly who you are and create a compelling visual context for it to manifest in the world.” — Lashaun Dale

A few months ago, I wrapped FOUR brands in one package! It was challenging but in the best way. I had to find common denominators that would link the sub-brands to the core brand. I achieved this using a similar font weight and bold colors.

First up, Yoga Magic(k)

A brand for people conscious about their well-beingand seeking a different experience from movement. Yoga Magic(k) offers an elevated whole perspective experience, including body, mind, and spirit.

To give the logos a magnetic and energetic feeling, I decided to use this modern serif typeface. By stacking the letters and joining them together, the logo is active/in-motion, symbolizing the different ways we move our bodies.

The all-knowing eye icon with radiating lines symbolizes how Yoga Magic(k) empowers individuals to tap into themselves and trust their intuition. So they can understand and embody their bodies entirely.

The brand colors named Fire, Tiger, and Sun evoke fun, vibrancy, happiness, heat, activeness, energy, friendliness, openness, vitality, illumination, and positivity.

Next week I'll be sharing the other sub-brands and the core brand. You'll see a sneak peek of them all on the last slide! Let me know what you think?

I recently took a solo trip to Sedona, AZ, for a retreat with eight practices, from ayurvedic medicine work to aromatherapy massage, vibrational sound therapy, crystal healing, and more. It was my first solo trip since the pandemic started, and I was a bit nervous since I was heading into an unknown area. But I trusted I could do it; I believed in my *mighty within*. I flew, rented a car, and drove two hours north towards the mountains into the desert, not knowing a soul or where I was going. I will always treasure that first magical moment with Linda Ronstadt blasting as I drove into the red rocks of Sedona during the golden hour.

Why did I go there? To break open, feel raw, and be a little undone. I wanted to get out of this static stagnation I'd been feeling for a long time, and I DID.

Before going there, I felt h.e.a.v.y. Physically, mentally, and spiritually. Leaving there, I felt lighter, more balanced between my feminine and masculine sides. Something I didn't even know was "off" until it kept coming up in my sessions which I think is interesting. I think I'd been leaning towards the masculine due to hustle culture. Trying to be "all the things," fit in, and do what everyone else is doing even though that's not me.
I've always been a pioneer wanting to do things my way (good or bad). I want my life + work to resonate with the people I want to work with and me, and I've finally realized that's all that matters.

Leaving Sedona with my windows down and singing at the top of my lungs; I had this overwhelming feeling that the #1 person in my life, the one I trust the most and can rely on more than any other person, is me and that's a pretty incredible feeling that I wish for everyone. 💕❤️🌵
