Health insurance costs are increasing in Missouri. 10% of a families income now goes to employer provided health insurance. This is unsustainable. This is why we're launching Acuff Mutual. We work for our members, not shareholders. Our ultimate goal is to extend the lives of our members and provide annual premium decreases rather than 12-20% increases, which is common among our competitors. We say no more! We're humanizing health insurance!

A new report found that nearly 10% of median household income in Missouri and Kansas goes toward deductibles and premiums. At that level, economists say those households are underinsured.

Debian 13 was just released. Already it's showing a significant performance increase over Debian 12.

New features in Debian 13 “Trixie” include official support for the RISC-V 64-bit architecture, APT 3.0 as the default package manager, HTTP Boot support, 64-bit time_t ABI transition supporting dates beyond the year 2038, wcurl and HTTP/3 support in cURL, and BDIC binary Hunspell dictionary support.

Debian 13 also improves manual pages translations, adds spell-checking support in Qt WebEngine web browsers, adds significant progress toward ensuring package builds produce byte-for-byte reproducible results, and introduces hardening against ROP and COP/JOP attacks on AMD64 and ARM64.
