Re-grouted the floor so the cat is searching for her food dish. Why did I do this? Originally we did black grout, but it wasn’t evenly black, and also, the tiles were so deep, we need more grout than we had (mostly because we had to rinse the black grout so quickly because it was really sticking to the tiles, yes we sealed the tiles first) anyway, we didn’t want to deal with the black grout so went with an umber, grout is brown but seems white. Color is brighter!

I just finished this reduction woodblock print inspired by a watercolor monotype I did a couple years ago. This is a twelve layer reduction woodblock, with several blended rolls. Very maximalist. And the colors say the 70’s to me. Edition of 24 (stated with 30, pulled six for color choice changes and only one for poor printing which had more to do with the humidity in the shop-kept the AC on high after that!-all that to say, it was one of my most successful registration projects!) sold two already! 💕🙏 These prints are always a journey, and the last month I spent on this ended well!
