So excited that I can finally show this piece off! These portraits are truly a labor of love but the end result is so worth it. The designs are created from a photo of your choosing and each piece is cut individually, painted, and put back together. It’s the ultimate puzzle keeping track of where all the prices go when cutting, shaping, and painting them all.

✨AVAILABLE✨ This floral was painted with a subtle lavender hue peaking out under the soft white finish. Every portion of this flower was cut and shaped by hand. It can be mounted on a 12-14in backer with your choice of stain. So what do you say, want to take her home? 😏

I find it so funny that I started woodworking to create an identity separate from being a mother, yet creating children’s decor is by far my favorite! Life works in funny ways I guess.

Yesterday I launched my website but aside from a post to my story I was pretty quiet about it and I want to explain why.

14 years ago yesterday I was in a car accident that resulted in me losing my eye at 15 years old. So Veteran’s Day has always been a rough holiday for me personally. I don’t say this for pity mostly for context and to avoid the typical lazy eye assumption (🤣). Anyways, I decided to launch my website on 11/11 to create a new meaning for it and have a better memory to look back on for myself. However, I did not want to detract from the true importance of Veteran’s Day as it is much bigger than me as an individual. So I did it in quiet and now it’s time to be loud about it!

So….. I LAUNCHED MY WEBSITE! 🥳 It’s officially live! I have several stock designs for you to order or draw inspiration from. There are also custom project deposits for shirts, wooden decor, and business or event signage. In the coming days I will be doing another video walking you through the site and the ordering process. I will also be sharing what is coming for Crafted Designs because the website is just the start of it! I’ve been quiet on social media but been working overtime behind the scenes. I’ve spent these last several months planning out this next year and I have so much left to show you.

We have been essentially rebuilding our house and unable to live there during the process which caused me to not have much to visually show you. I decided instead to spend the hiatus creating a growth plan and putting together a website. Now that we are just a few months from moving in I wanted to start putting that plan into action. None of this would be possible with out the support from not only my own family and friends but my husbands as well. I truly can not properly express how much it means to me.

To everyone else - I’m so excited to have you all following along and I can not wait to show you whats to come!

Wow these AZ temps really dragged on, but I am finally back from summer break! This summer I have been hard at work building out our website and creating a ton of new designs. The weather is finally getting cool enough to saw and paint outdoors again so time to get to work bringing these new designs to life 🙌 Fall is starting which means it’s time to decorate! This woodland themed nursery sign turned out to be quite the labor of love. But my oh my was it worth it! Between the fade transition in the landscape and getting everything pieced together like a puzzle, I am just beyond thrilled with how this came out!
