What question should you ask during an interview to get a job offer?
*Of course, this isn't a substitute to doing your homework and learning about the role beforehand.
Catherine Lockhart from Texas claims that this question never fails to secure a job offer.
When the interviewer asks: 'Do you have anything you'd like to ask us?'
Try asking: "What does excellence look like in this role?"
It gives the interviewer an opportunity to explain a little more about the day-to-day functions of the role. It also lets the interviewer know that you're serious about performing and exceeding their expectations.
Another suggestion could be to ask the panel what it is they enjoy most about their jobs, to show a bit of curiosity and get a discussion going.
๐ฉ But what red flags should you avoid?
Don't ask about additional benefits or time off.
This may indicate to the interviewers that you're more interested in the benefits than the job itself.
