First time at .xr and Long Beach bound June 15-18, 2026 🌊

is showing up strong across three tracks: pitching at the Startup Pitch Competition, exhibiting at Booth S81 in the IVRHA (International Virtual Reality and Healthcare Association) Pavilion, and showcasing research posters during the AWE Research Track demo hours.

The Immergo crew of Aviv Elor (), Michael Powell (), Ash Robbins (), Alyssa Tu (), Maxim Kuznetsov and Drew Stone will be running hands-on demos of our embodied XR telehealth and gamified home exercise programs, both with built-in biomechanics assessment.

It's March Madness over here at Immergo 🏀

Thank you to everyone following along with our journey. Your support, feedback, and honest conversations keep shaping what we build. Here's what's been happening.

🏋️‍♀️ Our alpha users continue to blow us away. One user came to with chronic back pain and no time for long drives to physical therapy. After 4 months on the platform, they're cycling comfortably without pain for the first time. Stories like this are why we do what we do. We're learning what's working (personalized movement coaching, real-time movement tracking, exercise programs) and what we can keep improving. Interested in joining? Let us know!

🔬 Our Veterans Affairs (VA) usability study is progressing: 20+ veterans are receiving VR-based movement care through Immergo. We're studying how VR can increase access for veterans who face barriers like distance, mobility limitations, and long wait times.

🌟 We demoed Immergo to 50+ clinicians, researchers, and VR leaders at IVRHA's 10th Annual Symposium and APTA ALI's . Immergo co-founder Aviv Elor presented on user-centered design for embodied telehealth. Watching people's curiosity turn into genuine excitement after trying the platform never gets old. These moments continue to drive our mission of building to empower providers and clients.

📢 New feature alert: Autodoc is fully live! We evolved our structured session reports to include something providers have been asking for: speak naturally during or after a session, get live transcripts and AI-generated SOAP notes to review and finalize. Less documentation burden, more time for client care.

Team Immergo is heading to IVRHA's 10th Annual Virtual Reality and Healthcare Global Symposium and the VA Immersive Summit 2026 at Moffitt Cancer Center (Feb 27th–Mar 1st).

🎤 Talk: Co-Founder, President & Chief Research Officer Aviv Elor will present on user-centered design principles for embodied XR telehealth in physical rehabilitation. Feb 28, 1:30–2:30 PM EST, Ted & Marty Couch Auditorium.

Curious how Immergo's platform came to be?💡

Our past co-design research is now published with Frontiers in Virtual Reality. In collaboration with Baylor College of Medicine & University of Montana, we worked with 24 stakeholders including clinicians, patients, designers, and engineers across five groups to evaluate prototypes towards exploring what meaningful telehealth looks like for physical rehabilitation. Their input shaped six design principles we now build by: 🏃 embodied guidance, 📈 progressive complexity, ♿ adaptive accessibility, 🩺 clinical authenticity, 🎯 biomechanical precision, and 🎓 contextual onboarding.

Reflecting on an exciting December at Immergo Labs ☃️

As we close out the month (and the year!), we wanted to share what we've been up to this past month:

1. Expanding our paid alpha program - More Immergo clients are now working 1-on-1 with movement providers in VR, tackling everything from chronic back pain to proper exercise form. Early feedback has been incredibly positive.

2. Published our research - Our paper "Co-Designing Meaningful Extended Reality for Physical Rehabilitation" is now camera-ready for Frontiers in Virtual Reality. This work shaped how we build: with providers and clients, not just for them.

3. Kicked off our VA usability study - In partnership with Baylor College of Medicine and Houston Veterans Affairs, we're evaluating our platform for remote assessment and home exercise programs within the VA.

4. Hit the road - Our team shared Immergo's vision at the Forbes Healthcare Summit and MedTech Strategist Innovation Summit. A common thread? Technology should free providers to be fully present with the people they serve.

Looking ahead: We're expanding our alpha release batches, introducing new measurement tools, enhancing our provider authoring tools for gamified async movement programs, and bringing movement care to more individuals in medical deserts. If you're passionate about the intersection of immersive tech and physical health - whether as a partner, provider, or collaborator - we'd love to connect.
