Avoid Pulling on the Cable
Always pull the plug itself when disconnecting your cable, not the cord. Tugging on the cable can cause fraying and internal wire damage.
Keep Cables Untangled
When not in use, coil your cable loosely instead of tightly winding it. This will help prevent internal wear and tear from bends and twists.
Use Cable Protectors
Invest in silicone or rubber cable protectors at the ends of your charging cable. They help reduce wear from bending and can prevent fraying over time.
Avoid Excessive Heat and Cold
Keep your cable away from extreme temperatures. Heat can degrade the material, while cold can make it brittle.
Store Properly
When storing cables, avoid leaving them in places where they can get squashed or stepped on. Use a cable organizer or pouch for extra protection.
