Marked an order shipped and forgot the tracking number? It happens, especially in December.

Since 5.00.032, SixBit warns you when you mark an order shipped without tracking info. It's one extra prompt, and a lot easier than fighting an "item not received" case with nothing to show for it.

Not on 5.00 yet? Open SixBit, switch to Support mode and click Upgrade.

Heads up if eBay pays you out on a schedule.

Starting November 4, eBay is making its balance (what used to be called Spendable Funds) the default for US sellers. If your payouts are set to daily, weekly, biweekly or monthly, eBay is switching them to on-demand. Your sales sit in your eBay balance until you withdraw them or set your schedule again.

What to do:
- After Nov 4, check your payout settings in Seller Hub under Payments and pick your schedule again
- If eBay asks you to verify your identity, do it. Payouts stop until you do

Easy one to miss in the middle of the holiday rush.

Holiday buyers on eBay are already comparing prices.

If you're running promotions this season, you don't have to build every one by hand in Seller Hub. SixBit lets you build, schedule, and run your eBay promotions from the same place you manage your listings.

Get them on the calendar now, while you still have time to think.

If your SixBit version is older than 5.00.032, you need to update. You can see your version in Support mode (bottom-left corner).

eBay changed its API, including how pictures get uploaded, and the old method was switched off at the end of September. Versions before 5.00.032 can't keep up with those changes, so listings, revisions, orders and inventory updates to eBay stop going through. The current build is 5.00.038.

To update: open SixBit, switch to Support mode and click the Upgrade button. If you run SixBit on more than one PC, update each one.

A few things that came with the recent 5.00 builds:
- Picture uploads moved to eBay's new API
- Named variation sets are easier to create and manage
- A warning if you mark something shipped without tracking
- Etsy listings can use up to 20 photos
- Fixes for batch-changing item conditions and refreshing Promoted Listings campaigns
