Analog Revival Collector of vintage stereo equipment, with a focus on analog-era systems from the mid-90s to early 2000s.

My groove is robust, simple analog gear without the complexity of modern systems.

Massive haul today, 2 Yamaha receivers (stereo and AV), a gorgeous Denon AVR-1912 with factory remote, and a Yamaha 5-disc CD changer. With the resurgence of physical media, CD players are popular and hard to source. Nothing like completing a set with a matching CD player. I started testing last night and so far everything checks out. I go through every component top to bottom, every input, every function, all speaker connections. I factory reset receivers, configure the settings, and let them run overnight. An average system’s takes 3 to 4 hours to test and configure.

My latest find, Technics RS-B17W dual cassette in remarkable conditions. I’d like to pair it up with my Technics GX receiver from the same era with matching aesthetics.
