Got to welcome baby Amani into this world with the flyest little wood art! Pulled out my wood burner I got recently and did this last night before the baby shower today. First one done!
Super simple and quick work, I’m getting ready to fulfill the three Kickstarter orders I received, thank you guys! So glad the attire was pjs and to dress comfortably because I look wayyy too comfortable lol. Also, props to Krishinda for setting this up and including the mimosasss 💃🏽💃🏽🙌🏽

‼️I’M TRYING SOMETHING NEW😱‼️‼️
Since your girl can draw on paper, people, canvas, digital, etc. I’m going to be impulsive again and venture into a new endeavour of Pyrography (wood burning). How hard can it be right? 😂

Here’s the thing, I’m not going the cheap route and getting a $20 pen that’s going to be inconsistent in quality. I need my s**t to look A1 lol. I’m looking at a wood burning kit for $180 after taxes and delivery etc. So this is what I’m gonna do.

If I can get 6 people to donate $30 to fund this kit, I will create you a customized wood drawing/hand-lettering on a finished wood board you can hang up on your home. You can make requests on what you’d like, ORRR get this, just TRUST that I will make something I KNOW you’ll love. 😉 Who doesn’t love surprises? Plus, I can always make something for you to gift someone because AHEM, Christmas is coming up. 👀 Add $10 and I’ll ship it to them!

Worked at a booth for the this last weekend and came across . Currently impressed and obsessed with their cards that I took one of each. I told one of the guys Brent, I love higher point cards and gave him mine to compare. They might beat me on this one for design and size (credit card size). It’s credit card size! All in all, talking with Brent and Lorin was full of laughs, information, and personality!

Unboxed these SUPER CLEAN 38pt Black Trifecta paper with velvet suede finish and it did not disappoint. I’ve been anxiously waiting for these to arrive for some time and it was worth every refresh button clicked to see if status was updated. Came right in time for birthday weekend and these babies feel so good I could cry 😂. It’s a subtle suede feel but definitely noticeable.

Late visit to see the full size poster design for ‘s Oktoberfest but it looks great in person! I love the idea of designing from a perspective of an employee and as a customer. You get the complete idea of the brand as well as how it gets perceived as a consumer. Cheers to bigger and better things to come. 🍺

It’s been so long, but it’s been time to freshen things up. JLy Design rebranded to just Jenny Ly. Slightly different than the previous logo but still the same. This one might be in it for the long haul.
