I am going post a few tips over the next couple days on how to up your social media presence.

In my last post I mentioned one of the metrics search engines use to rank your site is the importance or popularity of your site. One way to increase the popularity of your site is to have a link to your site coming from other popular sites. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, and LinkedIn are all incredibly popular (obviously) and can help boost your ranking.

I am going to start today with getting organized. Social Media is great for promoting your business and services, but it can be very burdensome trying to update multiple accounts multiple times per day. To help relieve that burden, I recommend getting yourself fixed up with a social media management tool like HootSuite. From here you can manage multiple accounts and even schedule your posts for when your target audience will most likely see them.
