History. Stewardship. Quality. Care. This is the Historic Spokane home, The Moen House, on both our local and the national registry! I did a full restoration of the 1938 windows over the last two fall seasons. Take a look at the window sill with the green undercoat. See that bumpy stipple texture? Trim should never look like that. Plus, the last painter didn’t prep the trims appropriately and the black top coat was scraping away with a fingernail. This home is headed into its next century and deserved quality treatment by caring hands, not a standard painter rushing to their next project. Historic home trims were brush painted, and that’s the way I do it. My finishes go through round after round of refinement. Restoration services are the standard here at !

Do you know this beauty? The Moen House, on both the local Spokane Historic Register, as well as the National Historic Register, underwent a full window restoration!

The original 1938 metal windows were in rough shape. The homeowners had called many contractors with no luck. They were considering replacing the windows altogether (gasp!).

Instead, for the last two fall seasons, I’ve given their windows a full restoration treatment. They all function again! Damages have been repaired, all surfaces are as smooth as a baby’s bottom, any cracked panes have been replaced, all transitions sealed with top grade weather proof products, plus a finish coat applied to last another 100 years.

They might even be better than new!!
