I'm in the habit of posting my work, but not myself here. A little about me:

1. I grew up in small town Missouri next to horses and a cornfield, and while I loved the animals and outdoors, never felt that I fit in very well there.

2. I have a yorkie named Lulu (pictured) and an ancient schnoodle named Telulah.

3. Cicadas are my favorite bug.

4. My husband and I have hosted 5 exchange students, from Ecuador, Thailand, China, Sweden, and Spain.

5. I love dance, and hope to do ballroom lessons soon!

6. I've always loved art, portraiture especially. While my interest started in realism, I want to get into more stylized art.

I recently met aroma artist Shevah Pinkus of Perfuming Intentions, and got to sample a few of her lovely scents. Tigers Eye was my absolute favorite, sweet, warm, and complex. I ordered some, and she was kind enough to include more samples, all of which I love for different reasons!

Perfuming Intentions provides signature scents and all kinds of aromatic activities and events. For example, they have a Mother's Day Perfume Making Party coming up - see her FB page for details!
