Swan Meadow is a Queer-focused space creating, amplifying, and gathering around visual art in St. Louis.

We are a retail shop and design/photo studio offering risograph printing services to artists and artist-led workshops.

oh my god what a weekend!!!! thank you thank you thank you to everyone who showed up to see our new space, craft, yap, share your secrets, stare at art, and enjoy little treats. we were too busy to take many pictures but we had so much fun hanging out with you all 💗🦢 August calendar will be up tomorrow, today we’re feeling like the last slide ➡️

🌷💗🦢🐰🎉 GRAND RE-OPENING 🎉🐰🦢💗🌷
is steadily arriving!!!! 2833 Chippewa St!!! July 31st-August 2nd we’ve got a crazy lineup of events!!!!
On friday night we’ll be sipping on infused lemonade, decorating welcome home mats, making a zine of secrets (🤫), and getting our portraits drawn by .mca.art !
On Saturday, we’ll be making Riso printed buttons, learning how to make penants from , drinking .byemma , and getting photos taken by !
On Sunday, we’ll be learning cyanotypes from .o.r.corliss , drinking coffee from , and making books with .studio !
All 3 days we’ll be slinging prints from and our collective artists and reading zines from our zine library. All Swan Meadow crafting activities are FREE, and pop-ups from other folks will be charging for their goods/services!

this weekend at swan meadow! On Friday we’ll have a life drawing practice club — if you need some practice drawing from life, come practice with some lovely folks. No RSVP required.
On Saturday, .studio and will be teaching a hand-bound zine class! Come learn about zine history and bind a spring zine :) tickets on our site 🎟️
All events are masks-required and masks provided😷💕

April calendar is here with no fools and lots of fun. Open hours are not back (yet! 👀) but yes we are still defiantly pushing through the fatigue even though we said we’d lay tf down. Lots of things are cooking and we’re doing our damndest to make sure it’s ready soon especially as we are on the hunt for a new spot for the studio/storefront.

If you’d like to support us, come to an event, buy some art from the shop, support Mell’s grant project or hire us as your design team! It’s a fu***ng trip out here and so many of the small businesses in our lovely city are working hard to stay afloat🌊

a small, small selection of some of the beauties on the Wall🧱🏠 couldn’t find the socials of all these artists so if you see one you recognize pls tag them! I really love that by taking a workshop or printing your work here you become a part of the physical space and something people connect with when they come into swan meadow. So many people walk right past our curated shelves and go straight to pointing at work on this wall😅
