Six years ago I somehow convinced the prettiest girl I’d ever seen to put up with early mornings, fishy hands, and way too much talk about tackle. And somehow, she said yes — to all of it.

But here’s what they don’t tell you about fishing / marrying someone you love: she’s going to outfish you. Pretty much every durn time.

Nate’s tournament last weekend didn’t go great for him and his partner Jeff but it could have been a lot worse as they only had 2 fish until 12:30 with a 2pm weigh in. Always keep grinding!!! Positivity is worth the effort!!!
