This week the Celential.ai U.S. team had their yearly offsite meeting in Mountain View, CA! It was a productive and entertaining experience where many of our team members met for the first time in person! Here is a quick recap:

🔭 Day 1: We had the pleasure of meeting at the offices of SETI Institute (The search for extraterrestrial intelligence) for a team building and brainstorming session.

It was a fitting place to kick things off because SETI brings together scientists, engineers, and philosophers from all disciplines to work on advancing our knowledge of the universe; while at Celential, we brought together our team from product, engineering, customer success, sales, and marketing to strategize on how to help amazing companies and people find each other.

A huge thanks to the SETI Institute for inspiring us! We capped off the day with an amazing Italian dinner!

🏃‍♀️ Day 2: We started the day with a fun scavenger hunt on the campus of Stanford where some of our team are alumni! We explored the beautiful university grounds, completed various challenges, and learned more about each other's diverse backgrounds.

We then all got together for some delicious Greek food and after that burned those calories through a leisurely walk at Shoreline Park.

It was sad to say goodbye to everyone but we are excited to get back together again next year for another unforgettable offsite!

A staggering 68% of the 133 CEOs surveyed by CNN Conference Board expect a recession is imminent.

The good news is that just 11% of CEOs anticipate a total economic catastrophe marked by a deep recession. The rest expect a "very short, mild" recession.

Another poll by Chief Executive Group with nearly 300 U.S. CEOs found that 45 percent have put their hiring plans on hold, with 42 percent saying they still plan to add to their headcount over the next 12 months.

If you find yourself in the latter group, you most likely will be conducting your hiring with a recruiting budget utterly different from the start of the year.
