🚨 STS Racing Track Intel: Michigan 🚨

We’re heading to the backyard of the Motor City this week, and if history tells us anything, it’s going to get wild. In the very first Cup race here in 1969, Cale Yarborough and LeeRoy Yarbrough banged doors all the way to the line for the win.

With our fixed setups leveling the playing field, expect that exact same kind of hard-nosed racing.

⚠️ The Danger Zone:
Michigan is wide, fast, and all about momentum. The biggest trap on the track? Turn 1. The entry speeds are massive, and the temptation to drive it in deep usually ends with somebody washing up the track and slapping the wall on Lap 1.

The Strategy:
As the tires wear out on long runs, the racing line is going to migrate. Where are you planning to put the car by Lap 20?
👇 The painted line (Bottom feeder)
➖ Hunting the seam (Middle groove)
🧱 Rippin' the fence (Top shelf)

Call to Action:
Since we are racing in Detroit's backyard, manufacturer bragging rights are on the line. Drop your badge (Chevy/Ford/Toyota) and your preferred racing line in the comments below so we know who to look out for! 🏁

Adkins Dominates Early, Secures Third Consecutive Top-5 at Bristol
BRISTOL, TN – The "World’s Fastest Half-Mile" lived up to its reputation today as Dan Adkins and the #91 STS Racing Chevrolet battled for the checkered flag in a grueling afternoon at Bristol Motor Speedway. While Adkins narrowly missed out on the win, his second-place finish marks a streak of three consecutive Top-5 finishes, cementing the #91 team as a legitimate championship threat.

“We had the car to beat for the first half of the night. That Mello Yello Chevy was on rails," Adkins said. "Starting P1 gives you so much confidence, and leading those 58 laps felt great. We just got a little too free at the end, and Bristol is unforgiving when your balance is off by even a fraction. It stings to lead that much and come up one spot short, but we’re knocking on the door."

Edwards Claims Top 5 Finish in a Thriller at Bristol
BRISTOL, TN – Lucas Edwards and the No. 19 STS Racing team continued their scorching start to the 2026 season, securing a hard-fought 3rd place finish at the Bristol Day Race. Starting the afternoon from the 3rd position on the grid, Edwards proved he had the speed to match the leaders from the drop of the green flag. "

“We had a great piece under us today," Edwards said post-race "Starting third and finishing third shows the speed is there. We just needed a little more on that final restart to clear for the win, but I'm incredibly proud of this STS Racing crew. Three top-fives in five starts—we're building something special."

Roberge Charges to Top-10 Finish in Bristol Thriller
BRISTOL, TN – In a race defined by high-speed grit and short-track survival, Chris Roberge and the #9 STS Racing team proved they belong at the front of the pack. Battling through heavy traffic and a grueling afternoon at Bristol Motor Speedway, Roberge turned a mid-pack start into a statement finish, crossing the line in 7th place.

“We knew we had a top-ten car during practice, but Bristol is a place that can take it all away in a second," said a member of the STS Racing crew. "Chris drove a smart, aggressive race. Starting 14th here is tough, but he picked his spots perfectly."

Ingle Sidelined for Bristol; STS Racing Eyes Michigan Return
BRISTOL, TN – The high banks of Bristol Motor Speedway was missing a familiar face this week. Jeff Ingle, driver of the No. 89 STS Racing Ford Mustang, was officially ruled out of the Bristol Motor Speedway race following a recent injury. While the team has kept the specific details of the injury under wraps, sources within the STS Racing camp confirmed today that Ingle was not cleared by medical staff to compete in the grueling, high-G environment of the "Last Great Colosseum."

“It’s a gut punch to miss Bristol," a team representative noted. "But we’d rather have Jeff at 100% for the long haul than risk further injury now. The boys are working overtime to make sure that when he hops back in at Michigan, he has the fastest car on the grid."

What a showdown at the Last Great Colosseum! 🏁 Bristol Motor Speedway delivered the close-quarters racing we all expected.

Massive congratulations to Blaine Curry for sweeping the board—taking home the W for Spirit Racing and throwing down the Fastest Lap with a blistering 14.966! 🔥

Dan Adkins and Lucas Edwards battled hard to put STS Racing on the podium, crossing the line just fractions of a second behind the leader.

The Championship hunt is getting intensely tight at the top. Blaine Curry is leading the charge, but with Lucas and Dan breathing down his neck in the standings, it’s still anyone's game! 🏆
