We made a zine!!

and I started this project right before we were about to graduate, since we knew we’d need a creative outlet while we worked our 9-5 jobs. This issue is called “FREEZE!” (interpret however you may). We’ll be disseminating issues to whoever reaches out directly, read up while it’s fresh!

In the middle of the Chesapeake Bay lies an island, now known as the “soft shell crab capital of the world.” It will be one of the first locations in the US to be swept away by the rising sea levels, leaving its residents as climate migrants.

"Technologies of Silence" was held by the UVA Sound Justice Lab back in September which I covered for the V Mag print issue. Truly stellar performances by the both of them, along with student dancers, poets and singers. James Torgerson designed the spread for the issue alongside Scout Woronko's beautiful feature - would heavily encourage you read about Mac's incredible life.
