As many families wrap up their summer vacations before the new school year begins, let's take a moment to recognize the people who help make those journeys possible.

This National Flight Attendant Day, we're celebrating Jewely Van Valin, a Delta Air Lines flight attendant who recently discovered she is on the autism spectrum. Her story is a reminder that neurodivergent individuals bring empathy, creativity, and unique perspectives to every career.

To help ease travel anxiety, Jewely created an in-flight art project that has inspired thousands of passengers to connect through creativity. Delta has also worked to make flying more welcoming for travelers with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping more families travel with confidence.
