In 7th grade, at Landon Junior High School, we had the best art teacher, Mrs. Rasmussen. She taught us all kinds of techniques for creating art!

One technique was to slice pictures into multiple strips, and rearrange them to create design. In those days, we did it with paper, scissors and glue. It’s much more fun to use a computer now! Most of my creations are from close-up photographs of gem stones - each one beautiful and different! As a little girl, I imagined my designs being blown up and hanging in office conference rooms. I guess I’v

e held on to that dream all this time! In honor of times when we rigorously chase our dreams, using the word “conference”, I’ve coined the word conFURance, just for an artsy twist! I hope you like them!
