We’ve been listening and working.
Over the past few weeks, some FlashFiber customers have reported buffering issues with YouTube TV and YouTube. While everything on our network has been performing as expected, we know that doesn’t make the experience any less frustrating—and we take that seriously.
That’s why we’re excited to share a major step forward.
FlashFiber has secured a YouTube caching server that will be installed directly on our network. What does that mean for you?
Instead of your streaming traffic traveling across multiple networks to reach YouTube’s servers (and potentially hitting congestion along the way), much of that content will now be delivered locally—right here on the FlashFiber network.
👉 Faster load times
👉 Smoother streaming
👉 Less buffering during peak hours
This is a big upgrade that puts content closer to you and gives us more control over the experience—especially for high-demand services like YouTube and YouTube TV.
We’ll be rolling this out soon and will keep you updated as it goes live.
In the meantime, if you’re still experiencing buffering, please continue to report it to our support team at 256-567-4140 (option 4). Your feedback helps us track, test, and improve.
Thanks for your patience—and for being part of the FlashFiber family.
