Everyone loves a password they can remember until someone else figures it out in seconds.

As someone working in cybersecurity, I see firsthand how attackers actually break into accounts. It doesn’t take a movie-style hacker typing furiously in the dark. With tools freely available in platforms like Kali Linux, paired with automated password-cracking software like Hashcat or John the Ripper and massive pre-built wordlists, like rockyou.txt, a basic 8-character password using predictable words, names, or simple substitutions (P@ssword1) can be cracked almost instantly.

Modern cracking rigs can calculate billions of password hashes per second. When your password is short or predictable, automated brute-force and dictionary attacks will chew right through it.
