My very first tissue culture experiment is going well! I’m about 3 weeks in to having potted them and am slowly acclimating. I started with 13, and lost one because I broke the stem trying to clean the agar gel off it 😭. Who can guess what I’m growing in this humidity haven? Props to Orange Lake Nursery for the tissue cultures and the answering of my incessant questions! More to come! I have a few things up my sleeve right now that are working behind the scenes!

Good evening! Firstly, I want to thank you for hanging in there with me these last few years while our family has been in a constant state of transition. Along with that transition, the focus of my business has had its own transitions. One of those is that while I’m not dumping resin work all together, for mine and my family’s health, I have slowed down its use dramatically. I will still do random resin pieces occasionally as the mood hits me, but I will no longer be doing custom resin tumblers or other resin pieces. I am so sorry if this is your only interest in my offerings, but if you will hang in there with me, there will be so many new and exciting things coming your way through The Front Porch Swing! Clay work, sublimation works, other methods of creating custom apparel as well using mediums that aren’t restricted to light colors and polyester garments, hand painted goods, beads, rhinestones, and the list goes on and on! I’m still the creative mastermind behind this shenanigan, I’m just opening myself up to essentially all mediums, not just resin! I have always been a multidimensional crafter, and look forward to sharing all that I’m capable of doing with you!

Secondly, I am, as you may have seen, also now moving my business into plants and things that grow and bloom as well! I will be starting my Spring seeding next week, and just this weekend got 35 lily bulbs started! All from 3 lilies that overwintered in my greenhouse! Since we bought our house in December of 2024, I have come to discover my thumb is indeed NOT black as I previously thought, but neon green and I am thoroughly enjoying exercising it! I will be offering plants and flowers that I have grown as well as bringing them in from other nurseries around the county! Please share my page with your plant and flower loving friends and family! Spring is coming!

And finally, while I realize that my page has been very slow these past few years, my personal goal for 2026 is to bring this business back to and surpass her former glory. I hope to be able to bring my goods to local fairs and booths. So be looking for more content! I look forward to working with you again to create and GROW!

Ok y’all! Here are what I currently have available in plants. If you’re interested, send me a message! If you KNOW you want one, send payment to my Venmo first and then message me and tell me you paid. I’m not holding onto these for anyone! These are all high demand and hard to find plants. All are in 4” pots with the exception of the Monstera Mints, which are 3.5” but they are filling those pots and would easily qualify as a 4”. Plant # and price are under each picture, so be sure to check the captions if you want to claim a specific one. If you don’t care which one, just put which type of plant you want and I will set one aside for you. For this week only, I’m able to meet you in town somewhere. After that, you will have to come to me, at my home, in Hartselle, AL to pick up. Feel free to message me with any questions! I can also invoice you through PayPal.

I have 4 rare and coveted plants incoming tomorrow if anyone is looking for a last minute special gift for the plant lover in their life! I will have multiples of each, but won’t know specifically how many until they arrive and I inspect them. They are from a very trusted and skilled grower so I don’t anticipate any issues, but you never know with these carriers 🙄. Here are stock images from the grower.

These are the plants that I currently have for sale in my limited nursery as of this date. I’m working on bringing more options to you if there is enough interest gauged in my adding plants as part of my offerings. Some I will be growing myself and some I will be wholesaling from reputable growers. These are currently in my possession and grown by me. These are local pickup in Hartselle, AL only. I am just not ready to ship plants just yet. No holds on plants. If you claim it, payment is due within 24 hours. I will accept PayPal, Venmo, or cash.
