Defy Ventures Scores Big Win at Business Mastery 2024!

Please join us in congratulating Grace Smith, a key member of our team, who has recently played an instrumental role in the winning team at Tony Robbins’ Business Mastery 2024! This remarkable achievement underscores Grace’s exceptional marketing expertise. She created marketing images within one day of launch, and her posters helped recruit others to the mission. Thanks to Grace’s efforts, the team not only won first place but also gained the notoriety needed to further expand the mission. Twenty individuals who graduated from the Defy Ventures program were invited to experience ‘Unleash the Power Within 2024,’ an immersive event hosted by Tony Robbins this year in New Jersey.

In addition to celebrating our internal victories, we are proud to support a cause that aligns with our values. Defy Ventures is a charity dedicated to transforming the lives of formerly incarcerated individuals through entrepreneurship and personal development programs. By fostering skills and providing opportunities, Defy Ventures empowers individuals to build successful futures and reintegrate into society.

In the United States, approximately 5% of the population is currently incarcerated. Remarkably, this accounts for 25% of the world's total incarcerated population, highlighting a significant area for reform and support. Around 60% of individuals with criminal records face substantial barriers to employment, which impedes their ability to achieve financial stability and contribute positively to society. Since its inception, Defy Ventures has worked with over 10,000 individuals, providing them with the tools and support needed to start businesses and secure stable employment. Participants in Defy Ventures programs have a 30% lower recidivism rate compared to the national average, demonstrating the effectiveness of their approach.

What an incredible privilege to host America’s finest in the annual Naples take a soldier fishing tournament. Representing 3 branches, our crew with of soldiers serve in the US Army and Navy and have over 60 years of life dedicated to service.
Aboard the FV Noleadtime the Global Solutions fishing team awoke early and ventured way over the horizon to share our backyard paradise while bending rods.

Thanks to the Global Solutions team and our clients whose patronage provide us the honor to sponsor this experience for our troops. Your patronage helps us show up for our military this one weekend each September as they show up for all of us each day!

The secret to living is giving!! Honored to collaborate with global leaders to end child slavery. These shirts purchased by team Global Solutions at Business Mastery created the momentum that will save 35 kids in the Congo this Saturday. By Monday morning those kids will be in an already prepared safe home with rock star leaders on the ground who have the plan to give them hope and a bright future.

On September 28th, Hurricane Ian, the 5th largest storm to hit the US, left a large part of our city unrecognizable. One of the areas hit twice as hard was the neighborhood of Harlem Heights So many of the residents here live paycheck to paycheck, supporting themselves by working in the service industry on Sanibel and Fort Myers Beach. Hurricane Ian flooded their homes and destroyed their belongings, as well as wiped out the places they worked.

The Gladiolus Food Pantry has gone from a year-round Pantry that was open once per week to supplement the food budgets of approximately 220 families per week, to feeding over 2,000 people a day (open Monday - Saturday, 11am-4pm) with hot meals cooked on grills and giving shelf stable food items and cleaning supplies to over 300 families per day. The Pantry, which was the only food pantry in Lee County that didn't close its doors during COVID, flooded during the storm. While the team there cleans out their building and assesses damages, they're out in the parking lot feeding people. The Pantry lost their Air-conditioning unit for the building, parts of the roof, all their refrigerated food and frozen meats, as well as their only van used to pick up food for distribution. Many of the regular staff of volunteers at the Pantry were affected by the storm, many losing their homes as well.
