8am Update: sites in Naches, Outlook, Sunnyside, and Mabton remain on generators. Again, please don't factory reset your router once your power comes back on.

Edit: 10:26pm - Substation site in Prosser is back up. 3500 people are down without power across the valley. If your power comes back on and not your service, please DO NOT factory reset your router unless you know how to set it back up. Wait 5-10 minutes after your lights come back for your dish/router to fully fire up.

The lower valley's getting hammered hard right now! Numerous PPNL & Benton REA outages.

We currently have four sites on battery backup right now. All in the lower valley in the Prosser area. One site in the Prosser area I think had a nasty power surge and the back haul needs rebooted, tech is in route! (Would have had to have been pretty substantial considering the site is inside of an actual substation)

Currently getting folks in position with generators just in case the power outages are extended to ensure no disruption in service this evening!

Here is a great example of how Wireless Internet Service Providers such as Advanced Internet are able to serve our community especially when they need help NOW!

Grandview Chamber of Commerce was preparing for their community award and auction. Upon arriving to their venue they found their hard-line wired provider was providing LESS THAN 1 Mbps! Time to repair was extensive.

We were contacted with less than 48 hours before the show. Advanced Internet was able to deploy its Next-Gen Fixed Wireless onto the venue, run cabling into the building, and connect the entire venue with our Managed Wi-Fi service. (All without drilling a single hole or putting a single screw into the building, mind you!) The venue enjoyed seamless connectivity and speeds in excess of 400mbps, plenty for the show to roll forward and keep everything smoothly running!
