Had some more fun with the green screen in the studio!

This time we sent my niece straight into the world of Scooby-Doo. I’ve been having a blast experimenting with these and seeing just how creative we can get with the green screen.

I think she fits into the Mystery Inc. crew pretty well lol.

Another awesome milestone for the studio. Today I received my custom sign made by Carbon & Iron Creations . This thing is absolutely massive. It looks amazing on the studio if you’re ever looking for any work like this, I strongly recommend checking them out.

I got some practice with the green screen setup recently, and who better to test it out with than my nephew dressed as Spider-Man?

Every kid has imagined being their favorite superhero at some point — so why not make that dream feel a little more real?

I’m having a blast experimenting with what we’ll be able to create with the studio. From superheroes to completely different worlds, there are going to be so many possibilities!

I wanted to make a post to help out a good friend of mine who is taking a pretty big step this year.

He's a Master Technician with years of HVAC experience, and he's working toward building his own business and could really use some new customers to help get things rolling.

This is a message to anyone who wants to get into photography but feels like their budget is holding them back.

One of these cameras is something I worked hard for, saved for, and slowly paid off. The other? I found at a local flea market for $125 with two lenses.

Basically, this was a $300 budget vs. a $3,000 budget—and look at the photos.

I even asked a bunch of my friends which images they preferred without telling them which camera took which photos. The majority actually chose the photos from the cheaper camera and lens.

The truth is, you don’t need thousands of dollars worth of gear to create beautiful photos.

You need creativity, patience, a willingness to learn… and apparently a little bit of luck at the local flea market. 😂

Don’t let your budget stop you from picking up a camera and creating.

I finally got my first chance to film with Tom, one of the owners of Applewald Farm!

I’m really excited to have this opportunity, especially after knowing Tom and his family for so many years. We talked a little about the farm, farm life, and what’s ahead for Applewald.

Can’t wait to create a lot more with this incredible local farm!

This is the first year I’ve offered senior photos, and honestly, it’s been busier than I expected!

I’ve had a lot of fun getting out, and trying something a little different with each session.

At this rate, I think senior photos might have to officially become a Catlin Creations service again next year. 📸
