The best data in politics is reaching even more of the Democratic coalition.
Last week, TargetSmart rolled out the largest demographic data enhancement in VoterBase history. The update enriched 38.4 million records, bringing enhanced demographic coverage to 90.4% of all 232.7 million registered voters nationwide.
The update closed long-standing coverage gaps for the voters campaigns most need to reach. Young voters, people of color, and highly mobile urban populations have historically been the hardest to model accurately, because demographic data coverage has lagged behind the average.
Not anymore.
Coverage gains across the board:
โ๐พ Black voters: +22.7%
๐ Hispanic/Latino voters: +19.4%
โก Young voters: +21.0%
๐๏ธ City dwellers: +19.7%
๐ต Registered Democrats: +18.9%
For campaigns, this means more coverage, better targeting, and a stronger path to turning out voters in 2026.
