🎉 The Depot turns 100 in 2026! 🚂

That's right! Our beloved historic Montague-Whitehall Depot is celebrating a CENTURY of history, and we're excited to celebrate this milestone!

From a bustling railroad depot to the home of the White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau, this little building has quite the story to tell!

🚂 Stop in and celebrate! Visit us Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm throughout October to learn a little more about the Depot's history and pick up a special 100th anniversary sticker!

📸 We'll also be sharing fun Depot facts, historic photos, and stories throughout the fall season on social media, so stay tuned!

Want to learn more? Visit the White Lake Area Historical Society on YouTube to watch our presentation about the Depot's history!

💛 A special thank you to Derby Design for creating our beautiful anniversary logo!

Just wrapped up the layout work, on the vinyl packaging, for the soon-to-be-released new Roosevelt Diggs album. So cool to be a part of it ... can't wait to show it off!

❤️

Rant incoming…We really appreciate it when promoters bring us physical copies of flyers for shows and events for us to post up in the window; not everyone gets their info from social media and algorithms. However, we are taking a stand. We will not be posting flyers and posters created using AI art. Full stop. If you want a cool flyer for your event, find an artist and compensate them for making a better flyer for your show or do it yourself. For example, these flyers done by the great artist Mark Dancey for our show coming up are better than any AI art. Nobody, and I mean nobody, is impressed by an AI flyer. Rant done.

When stars align ... "99% Invisible" is a design podcast I enjoy, and this episode is all about license plates! https://99percentinvisible.org/episode/artistic-license/?fbclid=IwY2xjawKAPZFleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBicmlkETFBakc1ZHR6TXBlVlVzYk1ZAR4TJ_Ok9qO5LQ_OSPSusMaqfHwLRNr4SAp2puRFqIeXsVyeBLWVhi--Q_OUuw_aem_gwj91DqWDSGcVL7Blwq-OQ

In 1928, a strange phenomenon was sweeping the state of Idaho. A Boise resident might wake up on a typical Monday morning, drag themself out of bed, and they would hop in their car to drive to work, only to realize that their license plate had been stolen right off of their car. “People would
