I know, I know. Getting in front of the camera is uncomfortable. 🫣

But here’s the thing! People don’t just buy products or services anymore. They buy from people they like and trust. And they can’t like and trust you if they don’t know what you look like.

You don’t need perfect lighting. You don’t need a ring light setup. You don’t need to have it all together. (Clearly I’m just out here taking mirror selfies and it’s working fine 😜) You really just need to show up.

So if you’ve been hiding behind your logo, this is your sign to get in front of the camera this week! Even once. Even awkward. Just do it! (in the voice of Shia LaBeouf)

started as a $1 pickle cart in Boston, now they’re dropping collab deals with Burt’s Bees, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Liquid I.V., and NASCAR, all just in this year. 🤯

The lesson? To build a brand people talk about, you need a clear identity, the willingness to show up in unexpected places, and collabs that make people say “wait, they did WHAT?”

Every small business has a version of this. The question is…are you giving people something worth sharing?
