Deaffest 2026 was a brilliant experience for me professionally and personally. The absolute highlight of the festival for me is making and watching the background music video for ‘s rendition of “The Heart Goes On and On” - I’m so proud that that both of us as Deaf BSL users were able to collaborate and get the timing to perfection, but ultimately spine tingling seeing Nikki smash it on stage and see how her BSL translation came into syngery with the visual effects I created. I also really appreciated the opportunity to work with Nikki and in the lead-up to the festival to create the festival promo, the looping trailer and the nomination awards clips to celebrate everyone’s work. For the past 3 months they have pushed me professionally and shown me their high standards which is why Deaffest is and continues to be a huge success! Congratulations to the full Deaffest team & volunteers, the nominees and the winners- and Roll on Deaffest 2028!!

A short film about control, resistance… and what happens when you finally surrender.
This film blends practical filmmaking with augmented techniques, using AI filmmaking tools to extend what was possible - not to replace the craft, but to push it further.
Sometimes the hardest thing isn’t holding on.
It’s letting go.

Seedance 2.0 - WOW. I had a vision in my head of a ⚰️ in a silver disco ball 🪩 style being held aloft at a festival. I often have those “what if” thoughts, but up to now, they have been too crazy or surreal to materialise. Seedance got it right the first time. From my brain into existence took less than a minute. I see why Hollywood is terrified. This isn’t going away.
