Our first sale from our new home shop in Westminster! Simultaneously also our first build in a Hyte fishtank case, here the Y60. While we tend to avoid vertical mounts, (especially in fishtanks) due to their poor GPU cooling performance, we received the case as a trade-in and configured the build to minimize any thermal pitfalls.

The case fans were upgraded from a few 120mm's to two 140mm Antec fans right under the GPU, two Thermalright top exhaust 140mm's, and four fans in push-pull on the 240mm radiator, in addition to the upgraded rear exhaust fan. This combination resulted in excellent cooling performance on the Radeon RX 6600 XT Hellhound OC, a true dual-slot model from PowerColor, saving over a full slot of space for the card to breathe.

To ensure peak performance, the Hellhound was manually tuned beyond RX 6650 XT clockspeeds and performance and paired with a Ryzen 5 3600 overclocked to 4.3GHz, exceeding 3600X performance. Paired with 32GB of dual-channel, dual-rank 3600MHz CL16 RAM, 1800MHz infinity fabric clock, and an X570 motherboard, the GPU runs at its fun PCIe 4.0 bandwidth without any CPU or memory bottleneck.

Every component came together on a 1TB Gen 4 NVME SSD at just $460 to deliver peak price-to-performance without compromising on aesthetics. Full specs below!
