What a way to kick off the New Year, our first successful test cut of 2022!!

The project involves the Development of a post-processor for NX CAM 1953, NX CAM fundamental to advance training, and finally project sign-off with test cut on Doosan 5-axis machine.

• Machine : Doosan DNM 200/5AX
• Controller : Fanuc Oi-M
• Material: Aluminium
• Tool: ENDMILL-diameter 10.0
• CAM Programming: NX CAM 1953

The customer chose the NX CAM for its fast and accurate CAM Programming where we can simulate the cutting toolpath with an instant visual preview of the cut volumes.

The advanced programming of 5 axis roughing technology, helped to reduce heat generation and vibration in the cutting zone, which in turn reduces the wear of cutting tools, extending tool life.
