You can serve more than one kind of customer without trying to speak to all of them in the same sentence.
That is where a niche helps.

Lesson 004 | Marketing Word of the Week: NICHE
WHAT IT MEANS
A niche is a specific part of the market your business chooses to focus on, often defined by a shared need, situation, or specialty.
In Lesson 003, we explored your target audience: the people you want to reach. Choosing a niche brings that focus into sharper detail.
EXAMPLE
“Photography” describes a broad service.
“Brand photography for independent hairstylists who need content for their booking pages and social media” describes a niche.
Now the photographer has a clearer starting point for the images to create, the packages to offer, and the questions to answer.
WHY IT MATTERS
A clear niche helps guide your marketing decisions:
• Which customer problems should your content address?
• What examples will feel relevant?
• What should your offer include?
• Where can you reach those customers?
You are giving your message a specific person and purpose.
RESHWAW INSIGHT
Choose a niche you can serve well, reach realistically, and find evidence of demand for. A narrow description alone does not make a strong business opportunity.
Your focus can evolve as you learn from real customers.
