I have made the decision to shut down the video game area at Big Redhead Vintage Toys towards the end of February. As some of you know, I work a full-time job away from the shop. The company I work for has grown considerably and requires more of my time than I currently have to give. My family has supported me unconditionally as I pursued my hobby and the retail business over the past few years, but it is now time to focus on being present for my wife and children and remain focused on my career.

I want to thank everyone that has come by the shop and supported me. Whether it was through a purchase or just great conversation about retro gaming, I am forever grateful and will always cherish the warm welcome and acceptance I received at Big Red’s! I will still be working at the shop from time to time when Red needs extra help or on the occasional Thursday night comic auction with Ray and Red. I look forward to continued conversations and friendships with everyone but now as just a fellow collector and enthusiast.

Thank you again to everyone that has helped me live a dream!
