AI can make content, but it can’t create connection.

As a graphic designer, I think AI can be a great tool. It’s been integrated into so many of the programs I use, from Photoshop to Premiere Pro, and it’s sped up my ability to make cool things.

However, where AI fails is in understanding the audience, crafting the message, and creating something people can relate to and feel.

Have you ever seen a hat vending machine?

I was driving through Virginia a few years ago when I spotted a pink “Virginia is for Lovers” hat and absolutely had to have it. However, the machine wouldn’t take my payment and i left empty handed.

So I made my own version for Newfoundland. Because tell me this province with its cozy cabins by the shore and wild, romantic landscapes isn’t made for lovers.
