Talecom offices re-open after Army bomb disposal experts carried out a controlled explosion to make the WW2 bomb that was discovered near the Technology Park safe.

TALECOM OFFICES CURRENTLY CLOSED DUE TO WW2 BOMB DISCOVERY.......

The Talecom Office is currently closed due to the discovery of A suspected World War Two bomb on a building site in close to the Technology Park, all Talecom Staff are currently working from home and our telephone lines remain operational.

The site, on Paradise Street, was cordoned off by West Midlands Police at 15:00 BST on Monday as the Army investigated the unexploded device.Surrounding buildings, near Coventry University’s Technocentre, were evacuated while bomb experts assessed the find, West Midlands Police said.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area and a cordon will remain in place until at least midday,Police said “minimal” road closures in the area also still in place.
