Our partner Accentronix has issued a significant notice regarding our services. Kindly be aware that we will discontinue the installation of 2G and 3G units. Moving forward, we will exclusively focus on providing 4G, 5G, and LTE installations. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
We would like to inform you about an important upcoming change that will have an impact our network services.
As part of the industry's evolution towards more advanced communication technologies, the 2G and 3G mobile networks will eventually be phased out. While the exact dates for the Vodacom and MTN 2G/3G network shutdown have not been finalized, we believe in proactive planning to ensure a seamless transition for our valued clients.
According to our research from various sources and by speaking to the mobile networks we estimate the 2G/3G sunset will begin in July 2024.
However, based on our platform statistics, it appears that the 2G/3G sunset has already gradually begun. We have noticed significant degradation in 2G service in certain areas, likely due to the lack of maintenance on 2G/3G technologies within mobile towers. The data indicates that this is occurring at an accelerating rate.
