Your business isn’t the problem.
The fact that its invisible online is the problem.
And that’s worse.
I see a lot of home improvement companies doing solid work.
Airport transfer services running daily trips.
Carpenters booked through referrals.
But they don’t have a website.
They rely only on social media.
And social media is rented land.
If the algorithm slows down, enquiries slow down.
If your page gets restricted, leads disappear.
If someone searches on Google for:
“carpenter near me”
“airport transfer to OR Tambo”
“kitchen renovations in [area]”
You’re not even in the conversation.
That’s not a skill issue.
It’s a visibility one.
A Facebook or Instagram page is not a digital home.
It’s a notice board.
What you actually want is an asset you control.
Something that shows up when people are actively searching.
Something that explains your services clearly.
Something that turns visitors into enquiries — without you posting every day.
Because referrals are good.
But search intent is better.
