Urgent Help Needed: 14 Year Old Girl in Critical Condition

I am reaching out for assistance regarding my daughter, who is 14 years old and faces significant challenges. She does not speak and requires special care, including wearing diapers. Recently, I encountered a distressing situation where I found her in a critical state after leaving her at home alone while I went to work. Unfortunately, the caregivers did not fully understand her needs, leading to her being placed in a home in Bulawayo.
I am urgently seeking financial support to cover her fees, which amount to $200, along with additional costs for groceries and diapers. My goal is to ensure her safety and well-being. Additionally, I am looking to start a business to sustain her care and support my two other small children.

Support Tafara Chimbirai’s Medical Appeal

Tafara Chimbirai, a devoted single mother of two, has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, a severe and life-threatening condition. She has been undergoing treatment at Parirenyatwa Hospital in Zimbabwe but now urgently requires advanced medical care to survive.

Tafara needs a bone marrow transplant and additional chemotherapy, treatments that are not available locally. She must travel to India for this critical care. The total cost, including treatment, travel, and associated medical expenses, is estimated at $50,000—an amount far beyond her family’s means.

In addition to the direct medical costs, Tafara’s siblings need to be tested as potential bone marrow donors, which adds significantly to the overall expenses. If a match is found, the donor sibling will also need to travel to India and undergo medical procedures, incurring further costs for their travel, accommodation, and hospital care during recovery.

Before travelling, Tafara will require platelet transfusions to stabilise her condition. These transfusions, along with the extended hospital stay for both Tafara and her donor sibling, will further increase the financial burden.

We are making a heartfelt appeal to all well-wishers to help us raise the necessary funds. Every contribution, no matter how small, will bring Tafara closer to the life-saving treatment she desperately needs and give her the chance to recover and be there for her children.

"My name is Grace Mazvani and l have a 17year old daughter Nokutenda Matri Mazvani. She was diagnosed with mitral valve Rheumatic heart disease late last year as she was writing her Zimsec O level exams. She wrote her exams whilst she was sick but by the grace of God she passed and is now doing Lower 6. Her health is not stable that sometimes she fails to attend her studies. The doctors said she needs surgery for a valve replacement. And fortunately we got sponsorship for her operation in Turkey and she is supposed to undergo the operation ASAP.
