Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support business decision-making through accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a solid understanding of financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Record Keeping:
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records (ledgers, journals, invoices, etc.).
o Process accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and expense reports.
o Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
2. Reporting & Analysis:
o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow).
o Generate management reports to support budgeting and forecasting.
o Assist in audits and tax filings (VAT, income tax, etc.).
3. Compliance & Controls:
o Ensure adherence to local GAAP/IFRS and company policies.
o Monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
4. Process Improvement:
o Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to accounting processes.
o Implement automation tools (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) where applicable.
5. Collaboration:
o Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., HR, Operations) to streamline financial workflows.
o Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications & Skills:
o Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA/ACCA preferred.
o Experience: [X] years in accounting roles (industry-specific experience, e.g., retail/manufacturing, is a plus).
· Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Oracle).
o Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).

o Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
o Excellent communication and time management.
Preferred Qualifications:
o Knowledge of tax regulations and payroll systems.
